My Library Account

While in our temporary location in building 700, the LPC Library's physical collection (circulating books, DVDs, CDs, and other materials) will be housed in a separate location on campus and will NOT be directly accessible to the public.  Requests for these items can be made using your "My Library Account" in the library catalog or through a librarian or library staff member.

Call Numbers

The LPC Library, like most academic libraries, uses the Library of Congress classification system (LC)

Books on literature, authors, and literary criticism have a call # starting with the letter P. 

E-Books

The LPC Library's Ebscohost eBook Collection contains many titles on literary criticism.  

Salem Literature Online - There is also a collection of literary criticism published by Salem Press.  Hard copies are available in the LPC Library but are also available as ebooks,

Try searching by subject terms such as the author's name, title of the book, or a literary theme.

To use the LPC Library's E-Books from off-campus, you will need to log in.

Username: Your W Number*

Password:

  • First 2 letters of first name
  • First 2 letters of last name
  • Last 4 digits of W#
  • Example: jado6789

* Don't know your W#, look it up in Class-Web.
