CSE recommends abbreviating journal titles (i.e. Can J Zool for Canadian Journal of Zoology).  Some LPC instructors will require that you follow this formatting style. However, journal title abbreviations are NOT required unless your professor instructs you to do so. 

To find the abbreviations recommended by CSE, use the National Library of Medicine (NLM) catalog.
