Library 7: Introduction to Internet Research: Cite Sources

APA & MLA Handbooks

APA and MLA

American Psychological Association (APA) and Modern Language Association (MLA) are the two most common ways of citing your sources at Las Positas College. Most English and ESL instructors require that you follow the MLA style manual. While most psychology and sociology classes follow the APA style manual.

However, it is best to check your assignment to be sure of what format you are suppose to use.  Ask your instructor if it is not listed on your assignment sheet.

NoodleBib

Noodletools (or NoodleTools) is an online system of helping you create your MLA citations and works cited page.
