Reference materials, like dictionaries, encyclopedias, and source books provide general overviews of topics. Each of the eRefrence databases listed in the drop-down menu to the right, will provide biographical and/or background information for your artist. This is a great place to start your information gathering, once you have an artist.
Click on one of the databases to the right to open it in the browser. Once the database is open, search for your artist by name, refine your results, capture relevant entries, and finally, be sure to enter in the citation information into Noodlebib or other citing tool.
NOODLEBIB HINT: For entries found using these databases, choose "Reference" to create a citation in Noodlebib, then select "Database" as the mode of access.
