Services for Students
24/7 Chat
The LPC Library is pleased to offer 24x7 live chat, with optional Zoom screen sharing! Live chat with an LPC librarian Mon - Thurs (9 am to 9 pm) and Fri (9 am to 5 pm) and with other librarians the other hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year!
Technology Loans
LPC Students who have limited or no access to technological tools necessary for their academic success can request a longer-term loan from the college.
Technology Checkouts
Laptops and other technology items are available for short-term student checkout. View a list of available technology at the LPC library; including more information on laptop checkout, computers, software, and other tools.
Online Material Access
Access to library databases, ebooks, streaming videos, and other electronic materials remain available through links on the library website and within the library catalog (OneSearch). [*Note: Use your college issued W# and class-web pin to access from off-campus.]
Video Tutorials
The LPC Library has developed a series of online tutorials to help you through the research process! Topics include developing a research strategy, choosing a topic, finding sources, citing sources, and more!
No More Fines!
The library will stop charging fines for overdue books and materials that are returned late as well as clear any outstanding overdue balances. While the library eliminated overdue fines, students are still responsible for fees associated with the replacement of lost or damaged books and other materials they check out.
Research Appointments
Make a one-on-one research consultation appointment with an LPC librarian to get help with research assignments and projects. For example, get help with: exploring topics, finding sources, and citing sources
