Technology Checkouts

Las Positas College Library offers a variety of technology items for checkout to support your academic needs. Below, you’ll find a list of available devices, links to request them, and instructions on how to check them out.

📥 How to Request a Technology Item

  1. Search the Library Catalog – Click the links below to find the item you need.
  2. Log in with MyPortal – You must be logged into your library account to request an item.
  3. Place a Hold – Click "Request" and follow the prompts.
  4. Pick Up Your Item – You’ll receive an email when your item is ready for checkout. Bring your student ID to the library Check Out desk.

  • Devices are first-come, first-served and subject to availability.
  • Borrowers are responsible for returning items on time and in good condition.
  • Late returns may result in fines or holds on your account.
  • All items must be returned to the library circulation desk—do not return them in the book drop.
