FAQs

How do I get free printing in the library?

  1. Request a print card at the Checkout Desk.
  2. Bring your student ID card or know your W#.
  3. Make a note of how much is left on the card and return it to staff.

Why is there free printing now?

We received funding from LPC Student Services, which received a CA Basic Needs Grant to support LPC students.

How long will free printing be available?

We received a set dollar amount to purchase print cards and once all the print cards are used up, free printing is over.

Want to ensure free printing is available when you need it the most?

Follow these guidelines so that everyone can benefit for a longer period of time (and save the environment, too!):

  • Print only what you need for your schoolwork and academic pursuits.
  • Consider alternatives to printing long documents/chapters.
  • Break up printing long documents/chapters over several sessions.
  • Print in color only when it is essential (for example, the final draft of an art assignment, to understand color-coded charts/graphs, etc.)
  • Remember “Sharing is Caring!” Your fellow LPC students will thank you!

Feel free to ask for help if you need assistance with printing.
