We're excited to announce our picture book collection!

For ECE Students & Educators

Our collection offers many picture books that enhance lesson planning, storytelling, and child development studies.  It's a great tool for learning how stories can help young minds grow.

Open to Little Ones

Children are also welcome to visit and enjoy these books!  We love seeing these books spark the joy of reading in our young visitors.

Whether upgrading your skills, scouting for knowledge and information, or connecting with other heroic readers, a library card is your key to an arsenal of resources. Mine the library’s stacks and databases for new stories and adventures; kickstart your critical thinking skills to defeat the Decepticons of misinformation lurking online.  Long commute? Use your library card to fuel your mind with books, e-books, audiobooks, and museum passes.

As a member of the LPC College Community, your WID is your library card number, and your campus ID is your library card!  So you already have one! As a California resident, you are eligible for a library card at most CA public libraries.  Consider stopping at the local library on your next CA road trip!  Many CA libraries also offer instant access to eCards, granting you access to these digital resources without visiting the library in person for a physical card.  Here are some to get you started:

Our public libraries are truly amazing! 🌍🤓   For further assistance or questions, don't hesitate to contact the LPC library team and be on the look out for more information about our October campus library card drive!
