Libby E-Books and Audiobooks

A growing collection of e-books and audiobooks including popular fiction and non-fiction literature for academic and personal enrichment. Books can be read or listened to in any browser or the free Libby mobile app.

START EXPLORING!

Browse the rows of Newly Added e-Books and Newly Added Audiobooks. Continue scrolling down the screen, and you will see Bestsellers, Biographies and Memoirs, Young Adult Fiction, and several more categories, including books for the BELL Collection.

To search for a specific book, click on the magnifying glass () at the bottom of the screen and type in your title.

AUDIOBOOKS

  • Find an audiobook. (If a title is available as both an e-book and audiobook, look for the earbuds icon (). 

  • Click on Borrow.

  • Click on the time period (7/14/21 days) for which you would like to borrow the book. The book is automatically checked out to you and returned to the Library at the end of the loan period. Then click on the red Borrow button again.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Click on Open Audiobook and start listening. Play with the features and controls at the top of your screen, specifically the one that controls audio speed.

E-BOOKS

  • Find an e-book and click on Borrow.

  • Click on the time period (7/14/21 days) for which you would like to borrow the book. The book is automatically checked out to you and returned to the Library at the end of the loan period. Then click on the red Borrow button again.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Click on Open Book and decide whether to read the book using the Libby app or Kindle app. Click on the Libby app to immediately open the book.

1. Click on Kindle APPS & DEVICES, which will direct you to Amazon.com. 

2. If you do not have an Amazon account, create one.

3. Sign in. Then verify the "Deliver to:" device and tap Get Library Book to finish checking out the book. (NOTE: You should not be charged for the book.)

4. If you have the Kindle app on your device, the book will automatically download to the app, and you will see the button Read Now in the Kindle app.

5. If you do not have the Kindle app on your device, download it when prompted. Once you download the Kindle app, you can download the book.

Read-Alongs are e-books with recorded narration that plays along while you read. Perfect for students beginning to learn to read and write English.
