Use the Library Catalog to search for books/ebooks and DVDs/streaming videos.

Books belonging to Chabot College may be requested online or by going to the LPC Library check-out desk. You will be contacted once the book is available at LPC.
Ebooks
The eBook Collection (Ebscohost) contains books on a wide range of topics including psychological disorders and mental health issues. A subset of the eBook Collection is PsycBOOKS, which includes over 4,000 books in psychology and 1,000+ of those are published by the APA.
- You can read the ebooks online or print up to 60 pages at a time. (Printing may be limited due to a publisher's licensing agreement.)
- If you are using the ebooks from off-campus, you will need to login with your W# and library password.

- Students with valid LPC IDs may check out books from CSUEB
- A consortium of over 40 CA and NV academic and public libraries

Call Numbers
The LPC Library, like most academic libraries, uses the Library of Congress classification system (LC).
Books on psychology have a call # starting with a BF.
However, please note that books on DISORDERS fall in several subject areas including:
- RC (Health)
- L (Education)
- HV (Criminal Behavior)
- QM (Physiology/Brain)
