Access to library databases, ebooks, streaming videos, and other electronic materials remain available through links on the library website and within the library catalog (OneSearch). [*Note: Use your college issued W# and class-web pin to access from off-campus.]
LPC is committed to meeting the urgent needs of students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Students who have limited or no access to technological tools necessary for their academic success can request a loan from the college.
The library will stop charging fines for overdue books and materials that are returned late as well as clear any outstanding overdue balances. While the library eliminated overdue fines, students are still responsible for fees associated with the replacement of lost or damaged books and other materials they check out.
The LPC Library is pleased to offer a new service where students can request a scanned chapter from an LPC Library held textbook or entry from a reference item. If a required textbook is held by the LPC Library, we will scan and email a limited number of pages per person, per day, upon request.
The LPC Library has developed a series of online tutorials to help you through the research process! Topics include developing a research strategy, choosing a topic, finding sources, citing sources, and more!
Make a one-on-one research consultation appointment with an LPC librarian to get help with research assignments and projects. For example, get help with: exploring topics, finding sources, and citing sources
The LPC Library and Librarians are available to support faculty and online courses in a variety of ways. We are here to help you and your students have a successful semester. Options include research workshop (online only), embedded Librarian in an online course, and/or consult with a Librarian.
