Anatomy & Physiology Research

This guide is designed to support students of anatomy & physiology in the research of body systems, how they work, and what happens when disruptions to normal function occur.

General areas of research often include:

  • A normal physiological function that is disrupted resulting in disease.

  • A current medical topic in the news that is related to anatomy and/or physiology.

  • A health-promoting topic that is supported scientifically (e.g., exercise, vaccines)

  • A common misconception on social media or in advertisements that is related to either anatomy or physiology.

See your instructor's syllabus and full assignment description for current and detailed instructions.

If you need research assistance, please contact an LPC librarian.
