Safe Practices for Personal Data

This short module covers the basics of personal data on the internet, including how and why corporations seek to collect it.

Thank you for taking the time to go through this module about personal data. I hope you enjoyed the game and resources and hopefully learned something useful along the way.

As was mentioned on the first page of this module, libraries have always been advocates for the right to personal privacy. If you want to talk with someone about privacy issues, personal data protection, or how all of that interacts with the government or private corporations, we're happy to talk with you about it. You can schedule a time to chat or contact one of us directly.

If you'd like to learn more about this topic on your own, here are some additional resources you might find helpful:

Hope you have a great rest of your day and until next time, stay safe out there.
