Overview

Elements, Format, and Examples

Elements Needed (in the order given) - 

  • First thing listed for the reference in the Works Cited list (ex. Author Last Name, Organization Name, or Work Title,
  • Specific location in work (ex. page number, time stamp).

Format -

(First Item in Full Citation Location)

Example Book (Print or Online) Two Authors, Specific Page Numbers -

In-Text:

(Knox 56).

Works Cited:

Knox, Karen C. Implementing Technology Solutions in Libraries: Techniques, Tools, and Tips from the Trenches. Information Today, 2011.

Example Video, no Specific Page Numbers - 

In Text:
