Accessing your Library Account

To request or renew library books, DVDs, or other materials, log into your library account using Library Account Login.

Use your MyPortal login credentials (W# and MyPortal password). For more information about MyPortal login details, visit MyPortal Information.

Your library account allows you to:

  • Request materials from LPC and Chabot libraries.
  • Check your account to see current checkouts and due dates.
  • Renew items online.

Call Numbers

The LPC Library, like most academic libraries, uses the Library of Congress classification system (LC). 

Books on the history of the United States have a call # starting with a E

You might also see other call numbers depending on the subject area.  For example, books on jazz will be the education section (L) or Health section (RC).
