ESL 24 (DeBakcsy/Payne) - Food Issues: Call Numbers by Subjects

How to Browse Books in the Las Positas College Library

The Las Positas College Library uses Library of Congress (LC) Call Numbers to organize books. This system groups books on the same subject together.

To find books on a specific subject:

  1. Look at the first letters of the call numbers.
  2. Use the list to the right to find the letters for your subject.
  3. Go to that section in the library to browse books on that topic.

This system helps you quickly find related books in the library!
